Flags is a real-time event coordination app for orienteering events, developed and operated by NaviTabi Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information — email address, display name, and authentication provider (Google, Apple, or email/password)
• Location — real-time GPS position, collected only while you have location sharing explicitly enabled within an event
• Photos and map images — files you upload to memos, tasks, or as event background maps
• Event activity data — task status updates, member status, memos, and activity history
• Usage analytics — anonymized statistics collected via Google Analytics for Firebase (no personal identification)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data solely to provide app features: event management, task coordination, and real-time map display. Location data is shared only with members of the same event and only while sharing is enabled. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Data is shared only with:

Google Firebase	Backend infrastructure (authentication, database, file storage, analytics)

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app, which permanently removes your personal data.

6. Security

We protect your data using Firebase App Check, role-based access control enforced by Firestore Security Rules, and encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
